James bond 007 nightfire secret unlocks movie#
Given that Nightfire doesn’t have a movie to crib from, writers Paul De Meo and Danny Bilson had to craft their own story. But otherwise, the home console versions of Nightfire are just fantastic. I say “nearly” because, while your character has Pierce Brosnan’s face, that’s definitely not his voice. It’s a crying shame, because the PlayStation 2, GameCube, and Xbox versions nail nearly everything that makes a good Bond game. The EA game made it ( albeit poorly) onto Xbox 360’s backwards-compatibility roster way back when, but when Xbox One’s backwards-compatibility program kicked into gear, it didn’t get so much as a look in.

But 2002’s James Bond 007: Nightfire is every bit as deserving of a revival. GoldenEye 007 is the undisputed darling of Bond games, based on the 1995 Pierce Brosnan movie. Not just because it’s a great Bond game, but its return gives me hope that another Bond game will have the chance to live again. From there, the mission is over and completed, and Bond and Dominique have a romantic evening together.I’m glad GoldenEye 007 is coming back, even if it’s not the all-but-complete unreleased remaster from 2008 that leaked earlier this year. The path through the streets of Paris seems more complicated than it actually is, so don't worry too much about it, just go as fast as you can and stay on that truck! At the end of the mission, Q will tell you to use the Electric Shock on the truck, as to not detonate the truck's explosives with your own missiles. When there's a roadblock on a street, simply take a side street. Offensive weapons (missiles) and defensive tools (smoke screens, turbo boosts, electric shock) are all used here, so use them when necessary. Drive while paying attention to the various clues Q and headquarters gives you on what weapons to use. Two enemy cars will do so much damage to Dominique's vehicle that Bond rescues her from the car, and then the two jump into Bond's car (as Q has it remote-controlled and ready for you!)įrom here, you're now driving. This will knock some of the structure down, taking the other car out of commission that was in pursuit. When you get command of Bond again, look for a blue mark on one of the steal beams and shoot at it. One will be automatically knocked out of commission, but the other will be following still. Repeat this process on the next two cars.Įventually, Dominique will take the red car up a ramp, and two cars will follow. This will cause that car to explode, and both cars will be halted.

As the mission begins and you can use your Sniper Rifle, go into "view" mode with the sniper rifle (so that the crosshairs are on-screen) and fire at the front of the two black cars perusing the red car with Dominique in it. You're equipped with a Sniper Rifle, and you have to do various things to protect the escaping girl. You, as James Bond, must protect a fleeing Dominique from some bad guys in Paris, five minutes before the new year begins. Objective: Protect Dominique The first half of this mission takes place from a helicopter.

"Prevent a rogue faction from putting a damper on the New Year's celebration in Paris." Hence, if you're playing in the easier or more difficult modes, the walkthrough may not be 100% accurate, as enemy locations, item locations, weapons, et cetera, are different. The walkthrough is based on the "Agent" difficulty setting, which is the "normal" difficulty setting. The walkthrough itself is in order that the Missions happen to appear, however, in the mission chart. It's kinda Mega Man-esque in a way, and will give the game some replay value and whatnot. This game has an interesting concept in that you can play the stages in any order you want, unless they're locked. This section of the guide is all about the missions in the game, the primary reason you'll be playing 007 Nightfire.
